Hello Guildies,

We have added new polls to the Home and Calendar pages of the web site. The Calendar poll will be concerned with which activity the guild will do together next. The Home poll will be other topics such as the direction of the guild, general referendum-style guild policy, or whether or not orcs should wear purple.

Remember, signing up for the web site allows you to view and take part in these polls and will also allow you to advance within the guild.

It has come to our attention that people are uncertain of the guild's direction and concerned that our trajectory may not be in line with theirs. I wanted to take the time to clarify what we wish to accomplish with this guild.

First and foremost, this is a social guild. Everyone should be at least cordial with everyone else, if not simply friends with each other. We realize this isn't entirely possible, some people simply don't get along, but as long as everyone fits in somewhere it works.

Second, it is our goal to work out a raiding schedule that fits with everyone. Raids will be optional, since we feel that this is very important for maintaining a casual atmosphere. There may be informal raids that are formed within the guild, but at the present time at least one and a maximum of two scheduled raids per week is the plan for PvE that we're looking at. If people feel that this is not enough they can certainly ask an officer to schedule more or form their own informal raiding group.

Third, we will also be a PvP guild. Since our raid schedule will be casual and all raids optional, plenty of time will be left for leveling and doing other things. We wish to encourage participation in both Battlegrounds and Arenas. At least one PvP event will be scheduled per week with the upper limit again being two, just like PvE.

We are currently recruiting all classes and levels. To join, send a message to any member in-game. We seek to become a casual raiding guild, and as time goes by we can decide what exactly this means for us. Our present goal is to build a core group of reliable members. As this core group is achieved we will become more selective about membership.
